The Family Fun Tour offers activities and adventures which can be tailored to the age of the children. Touring the farm, picking fresh fruit, splashing in waterfalls, riding on horseback and planting a tree will appeal to most children.  Making your own chocolate from cacao beans and eating the results is enjoyed by adults as well.... Older children can make seed jewellry and enjoy the adventure of a night walking tour in the forest.  A "bug safari" will reveal all sorts of colourful mini-beasts, insects and lizards to marvel at.  All the family will enjoy a river-side barbeque or an afternoon at the swimming hole.  

The Ecuador Wildlife Tour focuses on the wide range of flora and fauna in the area.  Dawn is the best time to see many of the birds, such as toucans and araçaris, and dusk is ideal for watching bats, bugs and other wildlife.  During the day, you can see an astonishing variety of insects from the huge blue morpho butterflies to tiny but brightly coloured beetles, and a butterfly with a fake head on its tail to distract predators.  The hummingbirds are around all day and so are the little tropical frogs.  Orchids are common and there are wildflowers everywhere.  On walks, tours and visits to different ecosystems you´ll see a sample of the amazing biodiversity that Ecuador has to offer.

Get involved with the Local Life Tour: visit local farms to see and help with the harvest of local crops; have lunch with a sugarcane farming family and tour the traditional horse-driven mills they use to produce a tasty alcoholic drink.  You'll find out about the many local community banks in Ecuador and plant some trees for our reforestation programme.  It's not all hard work - take a dip in a waterfall and visit the tiny local school with our first community eco-tourism project. 

The Crafts & Chocolate Tour is very hands-on.  Pick, roast, grind and process your own chocolate and then taste the results.  Try your hand at making jewellry from local seeds and nuts.  Experiment with woodcarving using local materials.  Learn the secrets of a local kitchen and cook with seasonal produce.
