Prices and how to book your Eco-Friendly Ecuador Farmstay.

Eco-Friendly Farmstays offer a very economical way to enjoy rural Ecuador, a Latin American version of the B&B.  A bargain farmstay with us will help you make the most of your holiday budget and help Ecuador's environment.  Our prices also include the planting of one tree for each night's accommodation - bed, breakfast & forestation. 

It is very important to us to pay a fair price to our host families, guides, drivers and other farmstays helpers, but we believe that our prices still offer excellent value for money.  

Price: $15 per person in double/twin accommodation, $18 in single accommodation.  It also includes breakfast and the planting of one tree.  

Many of our excursions and tours include meals.  There are a couple of basic restaurants in the village, or your farmstays host family can provide lunch and dinner on request.  

All-inclusive tour prices depend on the number of people in your group and the time of year.  For example, the 'Local Life' tour costs from $135 per person for a group of 4 in twin accommodation ($148 in single accommodation) including four nights accommodation, all meals, excursions, guide, transport and tree-planting.  The same tour for just two of you, in double accommodation, costs $178 per person.

For more information, for tailor-made tours or to make a reservation, we will need to know when you want to visit, your interests, and how many people are in your group.  Please note that our host families in general do not speak any English, you will need to speak enough Spanish for basic communication.  

Latest news: Many thanks to Claudine Nagiah, our volunteer Ecotourism Consultant, who kindly helped with the farmstays project evaluation and development.  Unfortunately, progress on this project is currently blocked and we are unable to accept reservations or receive visitors.  We hope to resolve the situation soon and will post news here as soon as the project is able to function.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
